Benjamin found his freedom in Christ in 2022, after burnout and falling morally as a young pastor, then finding redemption and healing through the Freedom In Christ books by Neil T Anderson "The Bondage Breaker" and "Victory over the Darkness". 

Knowing the calling to ministry, and having a deep desire to see people set free and transformed, Benj entered pastoral ministry in 2018. Leading a small church in Cairns. As the pressures of ministry grew and not knowing his identity in Christ, Benj fell to lies and ultimately failed the ministry and his family. This moment of brokeness led him to God in a way he never had experienced, and God led him to read the Bondage Breaker by Neil Anderson, which had been in his garage in a box stored away for 10 years. 

After walking through The Steps to Freedom, and believing who he was in Christ, Benj experienced rapid healing and personal transformation. So much so that his wife Emm was moved by Gods love to forgive, and together they re-built their marriage upon the truth of Christ.

Since then Benj and Emm have had been called to serve the Freedom in Christ ministry in Australia. Alongside other churches and individuals who know the teaching, Benj and Emm have begun to travel around Australia with their 4 Children and 2 dogs. Seeking to build a network of church leaders who may also have brokeness hidden inside. 

Benj deeply loves his fellow man and longs to see and encourage them to experience the peace and freedom that Jesus Christ offers those who love Him and choose to believe.

Stephen Cheah has been a pillar of the Freedom in Christ movement since the 1990's. Serving in Malaysia as the National Director, Stephen also served as the key point of contact for the churches in Australia who have been involved with Freedom in Christ. 

Stephen has an incredible depth of understanding of the Freedom in Christ teaching, and is an excellent leader and communicator. His passion is to encourage fellow leaders to understand where God is moving, and join God in his activity. Stephen is a great support to the Australian FIC movement and is committed to seeing Freedom in Christ flourish in our country. 

Robert is an incredible example of faith and commitment to the message of Freedom in Christ. Who we are in Christ and understanding the spiritual battle for our minds is Rob's passion. Rob has extensive experience in helping people from various backgrounds grappling with trauma. His work in Rwanda, helping victims of  trauma has equipped Rob with a unique insight into the genuine struggle that people face and his patience to work through deep issues is a gift from God.

Rob leads the Prayer Team for Australia. Prayer being foundational to the Freedom in Christ ministry, Rob's passion to understand the heart of God and seek Him for direction and protection for the ministry is vital to the work God has called the team to in this great country.
